Yotta/Withyotta Accounts closed - What to do?

At the moment, there is nothing you can do. The whole situation has escalated because Yotta’s financial intermediary - Synapse - has recently declared bankruptcy, and this has meant that Yotta customers have no way of accessing the accounts held at the brand’s choice of banks - Evolve and Lineage.

While you could attempt to close your Yotta account, this shouldn’t be done until all of your funds have been withdrawn. Once you have managed to withdraw your funds, you can then close your account by doing the following:

Log into your Yotta account and hit the Account tab
Click on the gear button in the top-right
Hit Account and then Account Information
Navigate to the Close Account button and press

When can I make a Yotta withdrawal?

At the moment it simply isn’t possible to make a Yotta withdrawal. However, you should check the payment processing page at Yotta for updates about when withdrawals might be made. Plus there is a subreddit for Yotta that offers advice about how you can contact your relevant representatives to get the situation resolved.
