Cincinnati Bearcats vs Temple Owls Game Preview

On Wednesday night the Temple Owls travel to Fifth Third Arena on the campus of the University of Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats. Both teams are currently trying to keep their NCAA tournament hopes alive. This should be one of the best games Wednesday Night with this ACC showdown.

The Bearcats are in a must-win game almost every night as they look to keep their NCAA tournament hopes alive. Winning 7 of their last ten games is certainly helping push the Bearcats in the right direction. Cincinnati is also playing great offensively averaging just over 75 points per game in their 10 games. Much of that offensive success has come on the shoulders of Landers Nolley II who is averaging 16.3 points per game, and David Dejulius who is averaging just over 13 points per game for the Bearcats.

Cincinnati will look to control the tempo in this game and get out to an early lead.
The Bearcats haven’t played well this season when playing from behind. If Cincinnati plays their style of basketball and have good offensive production Nolley and Dejulius, they should come out on top in this game.

Temple is coming into Wednesday night’s game losing 4 of their last five. Their longest losing streak of the season. If the Owls can’t find a way to get back on track quickly they will soon find themselves outside of the tournament bubble. If Temple can somehow keep the Bearcats at under 70 points in this game they have a chance to win, Temple wants to stay away from a back-and-forth game with the Bearcats
