On Tuesday night the Indiana Hoosiers travel to the Breslin Center in East Lancing Michigan to take on the Michigan State Spartans. This should be a very entertaining game as two big ten teams battle it out as they prepare for the March Madness Tournament.

Michigan State last played on Saturday night when they played in state and Big 10 rival Michigan. The Wolverines were able to beat the Spartans handily 84-72. The Spartans struggled to control the tempo in their game against the Wolverines, which has plagued them all season.
The Spartans have gotten big offensive production at times out of Joey Hauser averaging 13.9 points per game, and Tyson Walker averaging 13.7 points per game. Michigan State will need a big night out of both of these young men if they hope to control the tempo of this game and knock off the number 17th-ranked Indiana Hoosiers.

The hosiers certainly have had their ups and down this season, and have had a real problem digging themselves into a hole at the start of games. Indiana had to play catch-up all game due to a lack of luster shooting performance and a couple of costly technical fouls at the beginning of the game.

Indiana is also getting some big minutes and offensive production out of their freshman Jalen Hood-Shifino, averaging 12.6 points per game on the season and closer to 16 points per game over the last 5 games, including a 21 points night against the Michigan Wolverines a week ago.

Michigan State is favored by three in this game because they are playing at home. This is essentially another pick-em-game. Indiana is the better team this year but they have struggled on the road. However, I think Indiana wins this game and covers the spread. I would also bet the money line on this game as your odds are going to be slightly higher and you would have a better payout if you do indeed place a wager on Indiana.

With the over/under sitting at 135.5, it really makes me want to shy away from betting it in this game. In this game, I think we see some really good defense, and its very possible the winning team scores 65 or less.
