NBA BASKETBALL Knicks Vs Wizards Predictions Odds and Sports Betting Picks 02/24/2023

The Knicks will battle it out with the Washington Wizards tonight at Capital One Arena in their first game back from the All-Star break. The Knicks are hoping to remain hot after winning 6-8 games and improve their positioning in the Eastern Conference where they currently sit 10 games behind the Celtics.

The Wizards also come into this game hot winning 4 of their last 5. Washington is currently sitting on the playoff bubble 14 games behind the Celtics in the Eastern Conference. Washington needs to play more consistently for the remainder of the season to keep their NBA playoff hopes alive.
Both teams are looking relatively healthy coming out of the All-Star break and injuries shouldn’t play much of a Factor in this game. The Knicks and Wizards have met two previous times this season with both teams coming away with one win a piece.

This Game is the definition of a pick’em game, and really comes down to who you think will win. I think the best bet here is to bet the Wizards to win at home. Whomever you decide to go with to cover the spread I would supplement your bet with a money line bet on the same team. Statistically, the likelihood of an NBA game coming down to one point in a regular season game is very low. You would be better off doubling your bet on the money line here as you would be looking at a slightly higher payout if you bet the Wizards to win at home.

This over/under is kind of a fool’s bet. At 225.5 you are looking right at the league average for points in a game. Both teams a certainly capable of exceeding this over/under. In both of the Team’s Previous matchups, they have failed to score a combined total of 225 points. If I was inclined to bet this over/under I would bet the under however I think the best bet here is to stick with the money line and spread bets.
