Caesars Entertainment Inc. has announced that it has upgraded the mobile sports betting platform in Nevada, releasing a universal digital wallet on the Caesars Sportsbook app.
For those who visit Nevada, this upgrade "streamlines the experience for sports bettors," per the
press release. It'll allow players to manage their funds and Caesars Rewards in one place and also offers"seamless access across 19 jurisdictions where Caesars Sportsbook offers mobile sports wagering."
With this update, players in Nevada can access rewards and funds immediately. The company plans to roll this out in more areas across the country where mobile sports betting is available "in the future."
“We’re always looking for ways to make things easier and more seamless for our players,” said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital. “The launch of our universal wallet in Nevada is a significant step forward and a long-anticipated enhancement that brings greater convenience and connectivity to our mobile app. With this update, sports bettors who visit Nevada and our world-class destinations on the Las Vegas Strip or beyond can enjoy a consistent experience wherever they go, with their account, funds, and rewards all in one place, just as it should be.”
The wallet will become accessible to players who sign up and verify themselves for an app in Nevada. However, suppose a player has an account already from another state. In that case, they can also gain access by getting their account validated at an in-person Caesars location in Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and other Nevada locations.
The universal wallet functionality is available throughout the 19 jurisdictions, which include Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington D.C., West Virginia, and Wyoming.
The app launched in 2021. Since then, Caesars says it has "continued to enhance its user experience through regular updates and feature expansions."
Among some of the things the app features, per Caesars, is a "comprehensive sports wagering menu that includes same-game parlays, player props, futures, and live in-play betting markets."
Additionally, fans and players 21 and older can live stream games, including the NFL.
Caesars adds that the app "reflects Caesars Entertainment’s ongoing commitment to delivering world-class hospitality and a high-quality, regulated sports betting experience."
Caesars also refers to itself as "an industry leader in Responsible Gaming," citing that, in 1989, it launched Project 21, a Responsible Gaming program.
Additionally, in March 2024, Caesars received the RG Check accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council in Ontario, Canada.
In 2024, it won the National Council on Problem Gambling award for Corporate Social Responsibility.
