London-based DAZN announced a deal with Polymarket on Tuesday, Jan. 20 to bring prediction markets to its users.
DAZN will apply for CFTC licenses and, subject to approval, will introduce prediction markets trading in the U.S. over the next few months. Prediction markets enable people to buy and sell contracts based on the outcomes of sports, cultural outcomes, and many other events.
The partnership with Polymarket aims to give DAZN users the ability to engage with these markets directly within DAZN’s platform, adding an innovative way to interact and immerse yourself in the event by integrating real-time odds into live sports broadcasts.
Often called the "Netflix of sports," DAZN is an over-the-top (OTT) subscription service that delivers live and on-demand sports content directly to viewers across devices, without traditional cable or broadcast requirements.
DAZN provides extensive coverage of boxing and combat sports, along with rights to other sports such as soccer. They focus on live events, replays and highlights in more than 200 countries.
“DAZN is laser-focused on bringing fans closer to the sports they love. Through our partnership with Polymarket – the world’s largest prediction market – we will offer another immersive and exciting way for fans to experience sport. Integrating prediction trading will be an excellent addition to our platform,” said Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group, in a news release.

For now, Polymarket data will be integrated into live sports broadcasts on DAZN, which will give fans shifting probabilities and potential outcomes in providing a better trading experience.
“Every sporting event is a conversation about what happens next. Polymarket turns that conversation into real-time probabilities, shaped by millions of users around the world. Through our first-of-its-kind partnership with DAZN, we’re embedding those insights directly into the viewing experience - from boxing to the Champions League - so fans can track momentum, debate outcomes, and engage with sports in a way that’s never existed before," said Shayne Coplan, Founder and CEO of Polymarket.
In January alone, Polymarket has announced partnerships with the Golden Globes (Jan. 9), New York Rangers (Jan. 8), Dow Jones (Jan. 7), and Parcl (Jan. 6).
