The Boston-based sports betting platform announced Wednesday the launch of a Spanish-language experience that is available within their sportsbook & casino mobile app.
Customers whose mobile devices are set to Spanish will see the app automatically switch from the English version without any extra steps needed.
The new functionality will initially roll out to select customers in the U.S. and Ontario and will become more widely available to DraftKings subscribers over the coming weeks. This is all part of the company's ongoing effort to deliver a product that is tailored to each of its customers’ individual needs and preferences.
“Today, Spanish-speaking players represent a growing segment of DraftKings’ customer base,” said Corey Gottlieb, Chief Product Officer at DraftKings in a news release. “By bringing Spanish-language functionality to our best-in-class product, we’re creating a more intuitive experience for our customers and expanding our total addressable market. This is consistent with our commitment to delivering the most authentic, personalized product for everyone.”

The move is timely for DraftKings as they will enter Missouri's new legalized sports betting market on Monday, Dec. 1.
Last week, DraftKings and the NHL's St. Louis Blues announced an agreement designating the company as an official sports betting and daily fantasy operator of the Blues. DraftKings has been an official sports betting, daily fantasy sports and iGaming partner of the NHL since 2021.
