Legal sports betting will shortly go live in the Show-Me State, but which sportsbooks are opening their doors? Is Underdog legal in Missouri? The answer’s yes and, in this guide, we’ll take you through all of the important details.
The Underdog sportsbook will officially go live on December 1st, and this is the first date players will be able to make sports bets. However, as of 17th November, you can pre-register and fund an Underdog account. While no definite new player bonus has been announced, we’ve had indications that a sign up bonus will be on the cards.
At the time of writing, it’s not possible to place bets at Underdog in Missouri. However, players can pre-register for an account and make a deposit, ready for when sports betting officially goes live.
In order to offer legal sports betting in the Show-Me State, Underdog has partnered with two Missouri-based sports teams — the Kansas City Royals and the St. Louis Blues.
Sports betting in Missouri was legalized with the passage of Amendment 2 in November 2024. The new legislation in place allows for a maximum of 14 online sportsbooks and 19 retail brands.
Underdog is one of the dozen or so sportsbooks that have, so far, been granted licenses by the Missouri Gaming Commission to offer sports betting. A temporary license was granted to Underdog on October 22nd, along with other providers, to allow them to prepare for launch.
At the moment, Underdog hasn’t released firm details on a new player deal. However, we can assume that it will follow the same pattern as promotions in other states where Underdog has offered sports betting. Currency, Underdog has only offered legal sports betting, temporarily, in North Carolina, although it offers fantasy picks in many regions. If the Missouri launch does follow this pattern, new Underdog customers may be able to claim a 100% deposit match up to $100. This provides $100 in fantasy bonus entries, which you can use to make picks across sports markets. Football and hockey are especially popular in Missouri, and there are several key games coming up in December that you’ll be able to bet on.
To be able to pre-register at Underdog, you must be over the age of 21 and physically present in the State.
