Mohegan Digital announces new online sportsbook within Mohegan PA Online Casino app

There is a new sportsbook player in the Keystone State.

Mohegan Digital - the iGaming division for Mohegan - announced Monday they have launched a new online sportsbook within the Mohegan Pennsylvania Online Casino app and website.

Based in Wilkes Barre, PA, Mohegan Pennsylvania will also be home to an on-site sportsbook - the Mohegan Pennsylvania Sportsbook - located near the entrance of the resort. The sportsbook will feature a high-definition video wall, comfortable seating, and several self-service betting kiosks.

Boyd Interactive will support platform integration for the Mohegan PA online sportsbook, and Kambi will power the sportsbook's backend with their odds and trading technology.

"Mohegan Digital continues to expand and we're really excited about this latest roll out of online Sports betting as part of the Mohegan PA Online Casino platform," said Rich Roberts, President of Mohegan Digital, in a news release. "This additional offering in the great state of PA reflects our commitment to innovation, unmatched guest service and delivering trusted high-quality entertainment & gaming wherever players are."

Currently in the state, there are 11 legal online sportsbooks and 22 legal online casinos.

In celebration of the launch, Mohegan PA Online Sportsbook will be offering a special welcome bonus where new sign-ups will be awarded a $100 bonus bet with any wager (odds of -250 or greater) of $5 or more.

September Sports Wagering Revenue

The total sports wagering handle in the state for September was $850,549,347, 4.84% higher than September 2024 total of $811,283,985. However, at the same time, the taxable revenue figure for the month was $29,735,588, a 44.45% decrease when compared to September 2024 ($53,532,012).

Specifically, Mohegan Pennsylvania had a total online sports wagering handle of more than $1.158 million. Retail revenue generated just $132,790, while online recorded $4,259.
