PrizePicks is back in the Empire State.
The Atlanta-based company announced Wednesday that they have launched their peer-to-peer fantasy sports contests in New York.
Customers can officially join live contests now and will also be available for the Super Bowl 60 on Sunday, Feb. 8 as the Seattle Seahawks battle the New England Patriots.
“Returning to New York is a testament to the state’s commitment to embracing innovative gaming products,” said Nick Zabriskie, SVP of Government Affairs, PrizePicks said in a news release. “Players deserve a competitive landscape, allowing them to engage with their favorite contests in a regulated environment. We’re excited to bring our games back to sports fans who have eagerly been awaiting our return and to extend our footprint in the Empire State.”
In October 2025, the company was issued an interactive fantasy sports license by the New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC), becoming the 16th state to legally approve PrizePicks’ fantasy contests under their interactive fantasy sports rules.
PrizePicks operates in more than 48 jurisdictions.

One year ago, PrizePicks left the state due to changes in regulations and enforcement by the NYSGC. They reached a deal with the NYSGC, ceasing all paid contests shortly after Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
They also paid an approx. fine of close to $15 million.
Fast forward to now, PrizePicks worked with the state for a more compliant version of their contests, switching to a peer-to-peer, leaderboard-style format and relaunched today just in time for Super Bowl 60 on Sunday.
