Santa Monica, California-based Real App, a social sports app built around live play by play, real time stats and fan chats, announced Thursday they have named FanDuel its first Official and Exclusive Sportsbook and Prediction Market Partner.
RealApp has more than 1.5 million monthly users and the initial integration will begin for this year's NFL season, which started Wednesday night as the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks once again defeated the New England Patriots, 13-10.
The partnership will implement FanDuel odds and contextual markets directly into Real’s live sports experience, giving customers another way to understand, discuss and engage with the games they follow together on the platform.

“Our members are already using Real to track and discuss their bets in real time, and they’ve been requesting live odds,” said Louis Antonelli, co-founder of Real in a news release. “Partnering with a trusted brand like FanDuel gives us a new layer of real-time sports data that we can surface in ways that are additive to the Real experience for members interested in betting.”
FanDuel odds, markets and related visualizations will appear across Real game feeds, play level views, player performance screens, team box scores and other real time surfaces.
“Some of the best parts of being a sports fan happen around the game - talking about what just happened, debating what comes next and sharing those moments with other fans,” said Christian Genetski, President of FanDuel. “Real has built a great community around that experience. We’re excited to work with them and find new ways to make FanDuel a natural part of how fans follow and engage with sports."
Real App serves 1.1 million daily across 18 leagues.
The NFL season continues tonight from Melbourne, Australia as the San Francisco 49ers will face their rival, the Los Angeles Rams.
