Robinhood Launches New Entertainment Offerings to Prediction Markets

With states bringing up lawsuits and warnings to those platforms that might be thinking of offering prediction markets, prediction market companies are continuing business as usual and even expanding their offerings.

Menlo Park, California-based Robinhood recently launched a number of new entertainment offerings to their prediction markets over five categories (celebrities, film, music, TV, video games].

The company has seen rapid growth since they offered their first event contract during last year's Presidential election, highlighted by a dedicated prediction markets hub earlier this spring.

"Our customers have responded very positively to prediction markets and we’re eager to better serve their needs. We’ve heard loud and clear they want access to more contracts across sports, politics, economics, finance, entertainment and more.
