BigPirate is an online sweepstakes casino that launched in November 2025 and is owned by Rafflefy Limited. Rafflefy Limited is also responsible for Dorados, another sweepstakes casino that launched in March 2026, and you’ll notice a lot of similarities between the two if you try both out.
Below, I’ll focus on the promotions and bonuses BigPirate has to offer, along with information such as the playthrough requirements, redemption requirements, and more.

Below is information regarding all BigPirate Casino bonuses and promotions I was able to engage with at the time of this review.
After creating an account at BigPirate Casino, I instantly received 20,000 Gold Coins, 2 Diamonds, and 1 Bottle of Rum.
The Diamonds are the site’s equivalent of Sweeps Coins, and the rum bottle can be used toward other things and bonuses, which I’ll explore below.

After I created my account, the first-purchase welcome bonus I was offered included 250,000 Gold Coins, 25 Diamonds, 1 Claw Machine token, and 1 Bottle of Rum. The cost for this is $9.99.
Like the rum bottle, the token can be used for other things, too.
I was able to acquire many additional virtual currencies at BigPirate Casino to progress my account in various ways and enjoy more rewards.

In addition to the first-purchase bonus, I was offered a “Daily Deal,” which I interpreted as a package I could purchase daily if I wanted to or that there would be a daily offer, but this is what it was for that day.
This was 160,000 Gold Coins, 16 Diamonds, 1 Claw Machine Token, and 1 Bottle of Rum for $14.99.

BigPirate Casino does have a VIP Program. The VIP page showed me my current rank and what rewards I had unlocked. It also provided information on other perks and benefits I could unlock, such as 24/7 live support, a dedicated VIP manager, free rum, special purchase packages, and more.
However, it wasn’t immediately clear how to progress in this system.
As a result, I went to the Live Chat customer support to ask, and the agent had this to say:
Thank you for the question! Your level is determined and updated based on your total purchases, redemptions, and total rewards received.
Please note that the system calculates these levels automatically.
So, it’s still not entirely clear on conversions, but it appears that purchases, redemptions, and total rewards received all count toward it.

At BigPirate Casino, I found several daily and weekly challenges. These rewarded Gold Coins after completing the tasks. These include things like winning a certain number of times in a game.

I also found a “Wheel of Gold” while playing at BigPirate Casino. However, when I opened it, I realized I didn’t have any spins available. I clicked around to figure out what I needed to do to spin, and discovered I needed to play Gold Coins games to unlock spins.
Still, there wasn’t much definitive information, such as “play 10 Gold Coins games to unlock one spin” or something similar.

That said, this is available, and when you do have spins, you can win a certain number of Gold Coins.

Not only does BigPirate Casino have a daily bonus, but there’s also a game within it that I enjoyed.

After creating an account, I also received a Bottle of Rum, which allowed me to play the BigPirate game. When you play, you earn coins, and you progress your island.
As you progress on your island, you’ll unlock diamonds.

To spin, though, it requires 1 Bottle of Rum, which is a daily bonus. So, each day you log in, you can get a bottle, use it on the game, progress your island, and unlock Diamonds.
This was a unique way to turn daily bonuses into progression-based gameplay.

BigPirate Casino, like almost every other sweepstakes casino I’ve reviewed, has a mail-in bonus.
With this mail-in bonus, you get SC for writing letters to sweeps casinos. If you do this correctly, you can claim 4 Free Diamonds.

I also found many tournaments and races at BigPirate Casino that last varying lengths of time and have prize pools. These tournaments revolved around different types of games, whether live casino games or specific slots.
For example, when I checked out the tournaments, there were two active ones: Live Social Casino with a prize pool of 1M GC and Slot of the Week with a prize pool of 1000 Diamonds.

At first, I wasn’t exactly sure how to earn Claw Machine Credits, but after exploring, I learned that they’re a free add-on to Gold Coins package purchases. With these credits, I was able to play a game that lets you earn prizes such as 1-2 Diamonds or varying numbers of free spins.

Something else I discovered at BigPirate Casino was the Rewards Market. I learned that, in addition to the BigPirate game to progress my island, I could also save them to exchange them for things such as Claw Machine Credits or Cash Spins on various games.
This was another fun progression model to keep in mind as I was playing.

Also within the Rewards Market was a Free Spins category. I was able to pick specific games, and within each game, I could choose the number of free spins I wanted and see how many rum bottles I needed to earn them.

For example, for Hit the Vampire, I need 75 bottles to get 20 free spins.

At BigPirate Casino, there are two welcome bonuses: a sign-up bonus and a first-purchase bonus. Like we mentioned in our BigPirate review, neither of these required a BigPirate Casino promo code to use.
All I needed to do was create an account, which I was able to do quickly by following these steps:

While I knew there were plenty of different types of promotions and bonuses available at BigPirate Casino, I wanted to check out what player reviews over at Trustpilot had to say about them.
I found this one player, Trina, who’s had a great experience with BigPirate Casino, including the sign-up bonus, which I do agree is quite generous with the 20,000 Gold Coins, 2 Free Diamonds, and 1 Bottle of Rum.

I then went over to the 1-star reviews to see what they had to say, and this player, Michael, used the welcome bonus, had some winnings, and then seemingly had issues with redeeming his prize, including his account being closed.
Of course, there’s no way to know what happened exactly, but I was relieved to see that BigPirate Casino responded to him and encouraged him to reach out.

I then found another straightforward review of this player, Eastoff Ninja, admiring the signup bonus, mentioning the 2 Free Diamonds, and also having a great customer service experience.
I agree the signup bonus is strong, and it’s nice to see other players feeling the same way.

While I was unable to find this information on the redemption page or in the Help Center, I utilized the live chat customer support to ask about playthrough requirements, and I was informed that the playthrough requirements on Diamonds are just 1x.
This is important to know as other sweepstakes casinos can sometimes have it at 3x or more, so being able to access your Diamonds for redemptions with just a 1x playthrough is a major “pro” for BigPirate Casino.

To request a redemption at BigPirate Casino, you need to complete your account creation process, which includes providing personal details to your account and verifying your identity which includes uploading a picture of your government-issued ID.
From there, you need to have 50 redeemable Diamonds.

To request a redemption, here’s what to do:

As for how long redemptions take, a request is processed within 3 business days, and from there, it may take a bit longer depending on the method you choose. It’s not an instant redemption, but it is good enough in my opinion.

Overall, I was impressed with BigPirate Casino. There were a few promotions, such as the Wheel of Gold and VIP Program, that I think could have more direct information as to what I needed to do to engage with them, but besides that, I loved all of the progression-based games, such as earning rum bottles for the island or saving for the rewards market.
If you’re someone who enjoys hunting down bonuses and promotions, BigPirate Casinos is definitely worth checking out.
No. During my play session, I was unable to redeem or make purchases using cryptocurrency. The methods available revolved around debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and I was able to purchase using the Skrill e-wallet.
I’ll say that it appears to be. I say that because, while I know you can progress based on purchases, redemptions, and total rewards received, it’s unclear what that means in terms of conversion. That said, the perks that are unlockable are excellent.
If you’re looking to become a shipmate at BigPirate, you should be aware that there are two major entry requirements. First, you must be over the age of 18. Second, you must be a resident of an eligible state.
Currently, BigPirate doesn’t operate in the following: California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Washington. There’s no need for a BigPirate promo code to claim this deal.
There is no BigPirate Casino promo code required for the welcome bonus or any other promotion.
At BigPirate Casino, I encountered two welcome bonuses. The first included the sign-up offer where I received 20,000 Gold Coins, 2 Free Diamonds, and a 1 Bottle of Rum.
From there, I was able to take advantage of a first-purchase bonus, which included 250,000 Gold Coins, 25 Free Diamonds, 1 Claw Machine Credit, and 1 Bottle of Rum for $9.99.
The playthrough requirement on Diamonds at BigPirate Casino is just 1x. So, once you receive Diamonds from something like a purchase package as a free add-on, you only need to play that amount once before they’re eligible to be redeemed.
