As far as I can see, this social casino does what is required to legally operate in the US. I was only able to find email support at GoGoGold sweepstakes casino and response times can definitely be improved. I sent a handful of test emails at different points of the week and it took days to get a reply. Typically I expect an email reply within 24 hours max, but I didn’t get that from this social casino. I wanted to make sure that GoGoGold was secure, so I looked for basic security features too. To start, there is evidence of SSL encryption and HTTPS connectivity which are the two main things I expect. At the time of writing this GoGoGold review, there was also an active SSL certificate provided by Google Trust Services.

I was pleased to see that during the registration process you have to provide basic email verification too, and they have a strong geoblocking feature that prevents anyone from outside the US from creating an account. Lastly, I checked out the documentation too, and they offer the following:

Just be aware that you might be able to see different options to me based on your state.

Sweeps Coins also have the potential to be redeemed for cash prizes. You’ll need 100 SC to do this, plus to have verified your ID and have met the 1x bonus SC playthrough. I was impressed with the SC redemption processing times as they were typically between 1-3 days.

For this section of my GoGoGold review I wanted to look at the usability of the site to see how easy it was to play games, manage my account, and the overall feel for both the desktop and mobile versions of the site.

This is clearly a mobile-first sweepstakes casino, and they want you to play it on your smartphone. This is because the desktop website has a narrow, portrait design that is the same as the mobile-responsive version. I’m not a big fan of this really - it works awesome on your phone, but if you want to play on your PC or laptop, then you’ve got a cramped interface with around 60% of your screen not being used.

I think in terms of the theme and style, the site looks decent, but at the same time, it doesn’t do anything really that stands out - the graphics are fairly generic, and it annoyed me that some of the buttons don’t have a proper click animation. For mobile gaming - fantastic - the narrow portrait version of the site works brilliantly and the usability is spot on.

On your smartphone, you can easily manage your account, make optional Gold Coin (GC) purchases, and browse through the game library. I just wish that they had taken a different approach with the desktop version of the site.

That’s it from my GoGoGold review, so what’s my verdict? I think this sweepstakes casino has potential, and many of its features are what I expect. The mobile version of the site works great, and it has a solid collection of slots and live dealer games. However, there’s also definitely room for improvement and some things I want to see changing like the strange layout of the desktop site, and the fact that many of the games are locked behind a VIP purchase wall.
