Open LoneStar Casino
I’ve been gaming at Grand Prize sweepstakes casino since it launched, and I’ve had a heap of fun with the slots it offers from developers like 3 Oaks Gaming, BGaming, and Booming Games.
Based on the gameplay, and other things, I’ve created a Grand Prize review below. If you read on, I’ll dive into the game lobby to see what other titles there are to enjoy, while also looking at important features such as the welcome bonus, site usability, security, and legitimacy of the brand.

With my Sweepking review I started with the games, and I’ll do the same here for Grand Prize. It definitely has potential, and I did have fun. But the game library needs expanding, and I also want to see live dealer games added as there currently aren’t any.
In terms of quality, Grand Prize works with these producers:
3 Oaks Gaming, BGaming, Jili, Booming Games, PG Interactive, Penguin King, Dragon Gaming, M2Play, Ice Win, Yellow Bat, KA Gaming, Lucky Monaco, N2 Games, Bar Bara Bang, Fast Spin, Spade Gaming.
3 Oaks Gaming are my top developers of classic 3-reel slots and the Hold and Win bonus feature, while I’ve always been a fan of the slots and arcade games from BGaming. There’s a few producers I’m not familiar with such as Lucky Monaco, but I did my research and I’m confident that all the producers listed here are legit.
When it comes to game variety, I was mainly impressed and I think Grand Prize does an OK job of covering most of the main categories I want to play. The slot collection is the most extensive feature, but they also have plenty of arcade games and single player table games too. I’ve given a breakdown of the different types of games you can play in the below table:
| Game Category | Sub Categories / Game Mechanics |
| Video Slots | Megaways, Cascading Reels, Jackpots, Hold and Win, Bonus Buy |
| Single Player Table Games | Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Video Poker |
| Arcade Games | Crash, Dice, Plinko, Mines |
| Bingo | Bingo, Keno |
There are also scratchcards from BGaming and Spade Gaming with titles like Scratch Alpaca and Luck Magic Scratch.
I think the games I played the most here were actually the arcade games from BGaming which included:
Space XY is one of my all-time favorite live crash games and I spent WAY too long playing this. Aside from the BGaming arcade games though, Grand Prize does feature some interesting alternatives from other developers.
With the fun bit out of the way, it’s time to get serious and make sure Grand Prize is the real deal. To do this, I looked at important core features like the regulatory compliance, customer support, security, and virtual currency setup.
I’m 100% confident the Grand Prize sweepstakes casino is legit. You can’t make real money deposits here, and you can’t play the games for real money either. It also follows the no purchase necessary requirement, and gives you a load of ways to get more virtual currencies. I couldn’t see any parent company info which I usually want to see, but everything else pointed towards this being a legit brand.
There is a help center link in the website footer, but this didn’t work for me, so instead, for support, I tested the email and live chat. Email response times were within 1-2 hours which was acceptable, and I actually managed to get to speak to someone via the live chat within around 10 seconds which was incredible. They were helpful and able to answer my queries on the SC redemption process satisfactorily.

The site has SSL encryption to protect your data, and when I wrote this Grand Prize review, it had an active SSL certificate. There’s also sweepstakes rules, a privacy policy, general terms and conditions, and terms of use. I didn't really see any responsible social gaming information or controls though, which was really disappointing - this is something I expect all sweepstakes casinos to offer as standard.
Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) are your two virtual currencies - similar to the setup I found in my Coinsback Casino review. You’ve got the option of making GC purchases, and I was able to do this using Visa, Google Pay, Apple Pay, MasterCard, and Online Banking.
Sweeps Coins are potentially redeemable for cash prizes too, but you need 100 SC, to have played with all your bonus SC 1x, and to have fully verified your ID to make a redemption request. I only ever saw Online Banking as a SC redemption option.

Like I did in my Thrillcoins review, I dabbled with the usability of the desktop website at Grand Prize sweepstakes casino. I think it’s pretty good! It’s got a simple blue, orange, and white color scheme, there’s a decent pop-out menu, and there’s plenty of game categories so you can easily find what you want to play.
I did notice that the game categories and provider filters do not seem to be working properly though. For example, when I tried to filter the games to only show BGaming slots, it still showed games from other developers - this is something they need to fix. Other than that, the site is technically sound with fast page speeds, and I like the amount of detail they provide for things like the promotions and VIP program.
Now, for mobile gaming, there are meant to be TWO downloadable mobile apps, and there are links to download them in the left-hand menu. But I couldn’t get them to work. I tried clicking the links, and I also scanned the Android QR code on my Samsung Galaxy and all it did was load a text document. So I have no idea if the apps are any good or not. Instead, I tested the mobile browser version of the site and it works great - I probably preferred it to the desktop version of the site.
There is a separate Grand Prize bonus review that I’ve made, but I’ll give you a sneak peak of both the welcome bonus, plus the other promotional features you can get once you’ve signed up using the links on this page.
Signing up to Grand Prize was easy enough, and when I’d completed a few different steps, I got the following welcome bonus:
You get 100,000 Gold Coins as soon as you’ve signed up, but you also have to verify your ID and complete your profile to get the 1.7 SC which didn’t take me long. Compared to other bonuses I’ve had, such as the ones I found in my Blitzmania review, this Grand Prize welcome bonus is OK - I typically expect sites to give at least 7,500 GC and 2 SC to new customers, so it gives you loads more GC, and NEARLY my expected SC amount.
After I got my welcome bonus, I checked out the promo page and found a heap of other offers. In all honesty, I found some of these bonuses confusing. For instance, the refer-a-friend scheme is split into 3-4 different bonuses, and there’s also 3 different potential daily bonuses - I think they could streamline the promos a little better. Nonetheless, you can get the following:
Overall, yes, Grand Prize sweepstakes casino is pretty good! It’s not perfect, but I definitely had fun here and enjoyed my gaming experience. It’s got one of the more extensive arcade game setups you’ll find, plus some epic slots, and I was easily able to enjoy these games via the superb collection of promos they offer.
Live dealer games need adding, the game filters need fixing, and the mobile app links need sorted too, but I think these are minor things that can be sorted quickly, and even with them, I still had a great time here. If you fancy trying it out for yourself and getting your 100,000 GC and 1.7 SC welcome bonus, just tap the banners I’ve put on this page and get signed up now.
You have the option to play casino-style games like slots and table games using two virtual currencies - Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. You then have the chance of getting GC or SC back from your gameplay.
Anyone from the US who is over 21 and DOESN’T live in any of these states - California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Washington, and West Virginia.
No. This is a sweepstakes casino which means that you cannot make real money deposits here, and you can only ever play the games using your Gold Coin or Sweeps Coin virtual currencies.
My personal top pick is Snoop Dog Dollars from BGaming. This is a fun cartoon-style slot featuring the West Coast rapper, funky background music, and one of the better RTPs you’ll find at 97.00%.
