Poly Casino Review: Is Poly Casino Legit or Scam?

My first impressions of Poly Casino - is it legit?

Before I got side-tracked playing the games and looking at the awesome bonus features here, I had to first make sure it was a legit sweepstakes casino brand.

It does everything I expect from a social casino

A little bit of initial testing quickly showed me that Poly Casino is the real deal and that it follows expected regulations. It does this by not allowing any Poly Casino real money gameplay and deposits and only allowing you to play its games using virtual currencies.

There’s a standard virtual currency setup

Poly Casino uses Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) for its sweepstakes model. Gold Coins are for fun only, and when you play in GC mode you can potentially win GC back. There’s also an optional GC store which has a range of GC packages starting at $2.00. When I attempted to purchase some of these GC packages, I was able to use a few methods such as Visa and MasterCard.

Alternatively, when you play in SC mode, you can potentially win Sweeps Coins back, and these have the added bonus of being redeemable for cash prizes. You’ll need 50 SC, to have played with any bonus SC 1x, and to have fully verified your ID before you can make an SC redemption request.

I thought the live support was pretty good

Email support is an option with Poly Casino, and from my testing I found that you can expect a reply within 24 hours - it’s not great, but it’s something. Alternatively, I think the live support option is the superior choice as I tried this multiple times, and in most instances, I was put through to someone within 7-8 minutes. They were courteous and helpful, and always able to solve my queries.

I never felt unsafe playing here

Lastly, I did a quick security sweep just like I did with my Turbostakes review, and I found an active Google Trust Services SSL certificate which means all data is encrypted and that’s a GOOD thing. Additionally, the site uses geoblocking to prevent access from outside the States, and it has all the documents I expect to see such as a privacy policy, terms of service, and responsible social gaming information and tools.

Some game genres are missing

Secondly, I looked at the TYPES of games you can play, and right now, there is a small selection, with some of my favorite genres missing:

• Video slots.
• Hold and win slots.
• Bonus buy slots.
• Jackpot slots.
• Arcade games.

There’s no issue with the slots or arcade games at all and I think they’ve done a great job with these collections, but the main issue for me was that they don’t have any live dealer or table games. That means no blackjack, roulette, baccarat, or game shows and this is something they can improve.

I had the most fun with the BGaming slots

Usually, I’ll just play Hacksaw Gaming slots and stick to what I know, but during this Poly Casino review, I actually took a punt and spent time playing the BGaming slots and I had A LOT of fun. Was the Poly Casino site easy to use?

As soon as I loaded the Poly Casino site that first time, I knew that I would like the usability, just like I found in my Wisespin review. This is because the site has a logical layout with a left-hand navigation menu that is similar to many other social casinos I’ve tested. Additionally, they’ve gone for a simple and modern theme using mainly black and grey colors, with a splash of green and orange which makes for excellent text readability.

After looking at the basic layout, I delved into the searchability of the game library and was really pleased to see that you can filter games by specific producers which meant that I was able to instantly check out their collection of Hacksaw Gaming slots. On top of that, there’s a search function, and the games are split into logical categories.

Next I turned my attention to mobile gaming, and while I didn’t find a downloadable app, I did notice they have a Progressive Web App (PWA), so I gave this a try. It’s nothing special and it’s basically a slightly more accessible version of the desktop website, but I did enjoy using it on my Samsung Galaxy and I think it’s one of the better mobile-responsive sites I’ve tried recently.

Just as the heading states, after completing my Poly Casino review, I fully intend to continue playing here as I had a blast. YES, there aren’t any live dealer games or table games, and this IS a sticking point for me. BUT, there’s loads of amazing slots to try instead, and I think when you combine that with all the other superb features this site offers, you’ve got a winning combination.
