First up, the Chicago Sky (7-14, 4-5 home) will host the Atlanta Dream (12-9, 4-6 away). Set to tip off at 12 p.m. ET, the Sky will be without All-Star Angel Reese for this one, along with Ariel Atkins. For the Dream, Rhyne Howard has been ruled out and will remain out for All-Star festivities. Heavy 9.5-point spread favorites on the road, the Dream is a perfect 2-0 against the Sky this season.
Next, Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx (19-4, 11-0 home) will protect home court against the sizzling Phoenix Mercury (15-6, 6-3 away). Undefeated at home, the Lynx are massive 10.5-point spread favorites. Although this matchup features two of the most elite teams in the WNBA—Satou Sabally, Lexi Held, Monique Akoa Makani, and Kahleah Copper are all ruled out for Phoenix. Set to tip off at 1 p.m. ET, can the Lynx extend the home streak?
On the West Coast, the Seattle Storm (13-9, 7-4) will square off against the Golden State Valkyries (10-11, 3-7 away) at 3 p.m. ET. Tabbed as -190 money line favorites, the Storm are 1-2 in their last three games, and 0-2 against Golden State on the season.
Expected to air on CBSSN at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Indiana Fever (12-10, 5-4 away) will face the New York Liberty (14-6, 9-2 home) in a back-to-back matchup after defeating the Connecticut Sun at TD Garden last night. With Caitlin Clark uncertain to suit up, Clark reaggravated an injury last night. Large 9.5-point spread favorites at home, the Liberty are down 2-1 in the season series, and may catch a break if Clark is unable to suit up.
The Last matchup of today, the Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings (6-16, 4-6 home) will host A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces (10-11, 4-7 away). +185 moneyline underdogs at home, the Wings are 0-1 against the Aces this year. Scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, the Wings are riding a three game losing skid.

If you're looking to bet and cash out on the WNBA, welcome!
With a WNBA betting record of 29-24 in July, I am up over three units this week.
With all start times listed in the section above, all games will air on WNBA League Pass and local networks. That's exception to the Fever vs Liberty matchup, which will air on CBSSN.
Keeping my bank roll management at the forefront, I chose to place all of my picks as separate bets within Fanduel and Fanatics Sportsbook.
In this article, you will find my three best player prop bets, picks, and predictions for the Wednesday, July 16 WNBA matchups! Picks with great value, let's finish out the week strong before the 2025 WNBA All-Star break!
Are you looking to bet on WNBA player props all season long? Here at Ballislife Bets, we've gathered a complete list of the best sports betting offers here.
GP: 17 | PPG: 21.5| FG: 47.1 % | FT: 84.6 % | 3PT: 25 % | REB: 9.1 | AST: 3.3 | STL: 1.6 | BLK: 2.4
My first best bet for today, I placed one unit on Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson to record over 21.5 points against the Dallas Wings.
Although there's slightly a bit of risk of blowout with the All-Star break ahead, I'm taking Wilson to smash this player prop tonight.
Averaging 21.5 points on the season, she's the Aces leading scorer and rebounder for a reason. Now she get's a Dallas Wings team that's been dreadful on the defensive end. Respectfully, the Wins rank No. 11 in defensive rating (107.7).
It's clear the Wings need frontcourt depth, especially after they shipped NaLyssa Smith to the Aces. With Li Yueru and Luisa Geiselsoder holding down the frontcourt, last matchup against the Fever was a disaster. Not only did Indiana put up 102 points, they bullied Dallas in the paint, 58-38.
Keep in mind, A'ja Wilson is an All-Star starter, so it's unclear how many minutes she will see tonight. However, if there's one team she's massacred, it's been Dallas.
Soaring over this prop in seven of the last eight matchups against the Wings, Wilson has averaged 29.1 points over that span. Although Wilson will face Dallas for the first time this season, she did put up 19 points in 22 minutes in preseason action against the Wings.
Overall, Wilson has erupted for some monstrous performances against Dallas in the past—36, 28, and 42 points dating back to last season. Now, Natasha Howard and Satou Sabally have both departed from the team, leaving Dallas in full rebuild mode.
Let's keep it real, the Wings allow the fourth most combined points per game to forwards in the WNBA (30.8 PPG), in which they are shooting 48.4 percent from the field. Giving up nearly 35 paint points per game, this is a prime matchup for A'ja.
Plus, Wilson's sweet spot is the restricted area, where she's shooting 76 percent. Furthermore, a bulk of her shots from less from eight feet, a zone where she shots 57.1 percent. Given teams are shooting 61.4 percent from the restricted area against Dallas, this is a favorable matchup.
Recently, the Wings allowed Fever frontcourt duo Natasha Howard and Aliyah Boston to combine for 35 points. The matchup prior, Angel Reese erupted for 15 points against the Sky.
GP: 21 | PPG: 13.3 | FG: 51.7 % | FT: 73.7 % | 3PT: 21.4 % | REB: 7.8 | AST: 2.4 | STL: 1.0 | BLK: 0.5
My second best bet for today, I placed one unit on Atlanta Dream forward Brionna Jones to record over 6.5 rebounds against the Chicago Sky.
Arguably snubbed from All-Star Weekend, Jones has been the glue to the Dream's frontcourt. Now Atlanta will get a huge break on the boards, since Angel Reese was ruled out today for the Sky.
We've seen Jones with some monstrous performances against Chicago on the boards this year, grabbing back-to-back 11 rebounds in two games against the Sky. Mind you, that was with Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso in the starting lineup.
Even without Reese, I fully expect Tyler Marsh to insert Elizabeth Williams into the starting lineup, especially given both the Dream and Sky are top three rebounding teams in the WNBA.
Although Jones has been a bit inconsistent in scoring, she's soared over the 6.5 rebound prop in six of the last eight games. Averaging exactly 7.5 rebounds over the span, Jones will have a clear path today. Especially since Rhyne Howard, who's a bigger guard at 6 foot 2, will be out tonight.
Overall, we've seen Kiki Iriafen (10), Napheesa Collier (8), and Dearica Hamby (10) dominate on the glass recently against Chicago. Without Reese, the Sky lose an elite rebounder, who's averaging 13.1 RPG this season.
GP: 14 | PPG: 13.5 | FG: 44.4 % | FT: 87.5 % | 3PT: 45.9 % | REB: 3.8 | AST: 2.8 | STL: 0.5 | BLK: 0.2
My third best bet for today, I placed one unit on Golden State Valkyries guard Tiffany Hayes to record over 12.5 points against the Seattle Storm.
Although having experienced some injuries this season, Tiffany Hayes is showing why the Valkyries signed her in the off season.
A 13 year veteran, Hayes is one of the most prolific scorers in the WNBA, and one of the most underrated in the league. Averaging 13.5 points on the season, Hayes has been on a tear as of late.
Given this player prop line is an entire point lower than her season average, Hayes eclipsed 13 points in three of the last five games, averaging 14.4 points over that span. Mind you, that's against top teams in the WNBA—Lynx, Aces, Fever, Dream, and Mercury.
Shooting a career-high 45.9 percent from beyond the arc, and Hayes naturally is a difficult player to guard. Along with her ability to shoot, she's crafty in driving downhill.
Regardless of injuries and Eurobasket, the Valkyries have most of their roster set in stone. With that, the Storm have been ruthless defensively against guards with Skylar Diggins and Erica Wheeler in the backcourt.
Plus, Hayes delivered 21 points in the Valkyries 84-57 blowout performance against the Storm on June 29. Shooting 8-13 from the field, and 3-6 from 3-point, we've already seen Hayes deliver one of her best performances of the season.
