The moment came early in the 4th quarter when Brandon Knight drove down the lane and saw nothing but DeAndre Jordan between him and the rim. Hundreds of RIP memes quickly flashed in his head while his subconscious said "revenge is a dish best served cold." Then a foul happened. How disappointing. If the basketball Gods were on this then we would have had a redemption dunk on DJ or a block which would pretty much guarantee Knight's name will forever be linked to Jordans. Knight then went to the line and hit his first free throw and then missed the second. It was one of the few things he would miss on this career-night.
Knight finished the game with a career-high 37 points on 14 of 22 shooting as the Suns came away with a 108-104 victory over the hurting Clippers. Not only did LA start the game without CP3 and JJ, they lost Blake Griffin in the first half to a pair of silly techs and as for Jordan, he hurt his arm on a block (foul?) on Knight, failed to get 10 boards and missed 8 of his 13 free throws.
