It seemed like everybody was on fire last night, but we aren’t that surprised to see All-Stars like Melo and Paul George put up great performances because they are recognized All-Stars. But for the Houston Rockets, who All-Star voters weren’t so kind to, they have a group of guys that play like All-Stars including James Harden, Dwight Howard and the best deal in the NBA – Chandler Parsons.
An All-Star on and especially off the court, the rebound dunk king lit up the Grizzlies for 34 points including a NBA record 10 3-pointers in a half (previously held by Deron Williams with 9). The 10 3 pointers in the game and 6 in a quarter are also franchise records. Unfortunately Chandler’s amazing effort came in a 1 point loss.
Chandler’s final stat line was 34 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist on 11-17 shooting and 10-14 from downtown.
