Can you believe it’s been 6 years and almost 2 months since the Miami Heat introduced “The Heatles?” The welcome party for the Big 3 of LeBron, Wade and Bosh put a huge smile on the face of every Miami Heat fan and made every other basketball fan shake their head more than LeBron’s televised decision. And for 4 years, people in Miami continued to party as the Heat made 4 consecutive NBA Finals appearances and won 2 Championships.
Then on July 11th of 2014, LeBron announced he was taking his talents back to Cleveland, which meant “The Heatles” were dead. 2 weeks later, Chris Bosh re-signed with the Heat but injuries and blood clots have sidelined him for much of the past 2 seasons.
Then on July 6th of 2016, Dwyane Wade shocked the world and dropped a bomb on Miami by announcing he was leaving “Wade county” to play in his hometown of Chicago. This meant Bosh was the last man standing in Miami but due to his health issues, many believed Bosh was going to be forced to retire.
On August 30th of 2016, Bosh posted a photo of him and “the homie” Dwyane Wade working out together and although it sounds like it should be something that would put a smile on the faces of basketball fans, it actually made us all feel sad.
