Chris Paul: 27 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 1 turnover (9-19 fg, 3-8 3pt, 6-7 ft)
Damian Lillard: 29 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 steals, 4 turnovers (11-24 fg, 2-5 3pt, 5-7 ft)
The LA Clippers won their season opener 114-106 against the Blazers on Thursday night, behind 27 points from both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. Damian Lillard followed up his 39 point performance with 29 before fouling out (on a ridiculous call) late in the final minute.
“I just think we grew frustrated with the way some things went,” Lillard said. “When we’re in that situation we’ve probably got to do a better job of controlling what we can control.”
