(WARNING: TURN THE VOLUME DOWN BEFORE PUSHING PLAY ON THE VIDEO)
How many times have you put your head down or acted as if your team lost when a player on your team attempted a wild game-winner and then went “full retard (I know it’s not PC)” once you realized the hail Mary shot went in?
Down by 2 with 2 seconds left, Trevor Williams of Sheridan College had to attempt a fadeaway 3-pointer over a defender at the buzzer to save the day. Trevor fell to the floor as the shot went over the hands of the cocky defender (#15), then off glass and through the net as that cocky defender, with his hands on his hip, stood over Trevor, staring down and mocking him for missing the shot and losing the game. Well, things didn’t happen that way and I wish we had a close-up on #15’s reaction when he heard the screaming and then witnessed the pandemonium that followed.
Sheridan Bruins won 73-72 over Humber.
