If the Lakers didn't have enough injury problems, D'Angelo Russell sprained his MCL and strained his right calf just one minute into the Lakers win over the Pacers on Friday. The good news is he seems to be alright.
"I don't think it's as bad as I initially thought," coach Luke Walton said. "I saw him go down and I was pretty worried for him, but he said he feels all right when I checked on him at halftime. I'll get more of an update tonight and then even more so tomorrow."
This scare also happened to his right knee and not the left one that sidelined him for 11 games earlier this season.
Oh yeah, this also happened to Swaggy P in the 2nd quarter but he was able to return in the 2nd half.
