NC State basketball has a reason to be excited about the 2016-2017 season and that reason is Dennis Smith Jr. Whether you want to believe the hype or not, Dennis Smith Jr will be one of college basketball's premiere point guards this season. Add Turkish 7-footer Omer Yurtseven and the rest of NC State's supporting cast and there might be some noise to be made out of Raleigh this year. 6'3" point guard Dennis Smith Jr dropped in 12 points and dished out 5 assist in the brief scrimmage tonight as a part of NC State's Primetime with the Pack (Midnight Madness). Fellow freshman Omer Yurtseven added 6 points and 2 assist and is considered by many to be a potential lottery pick in next year's draft. Other notable moments from the night included head coach Mark Gottfried going topless and "boxing" current WBC Heavyweight Champ Deontay "Bronze Bomber" Wilder. Be sure to check out all the raw highlights from Dennis and Omer, including DSJ easily putting the rock between a defenders legs before slamming it home with ease. Excitement galore in Raleigh and we will have it all for you on BIL! #HOOPSTATE
