The Toronto Raptors have named Aubrey “Drake” Graham the team’s new Global Ambassador. Drake who has been the voice of the Toronto will now be the face of the Raptors as they prepare for the 2016 All Star Game. We all know the young money prince is a big fan of basketball and his home town team. Not only is he a season ticket holder but he even has a basketball league that he does every summer. The Raptors franchise has been going down hill since the departure of Vince Carter. Even though they have some great players in Demar Derozan and Rudy Gay the team has been struggling to make the play offs. As a result the franchise has not been a very marketable team. With this new position Drizzy will be able to move the team into a different direction. Some of his duties as the new ambassador will be to helps the team image and re brand the franchise. Mr OVO is also working on a clothing line with his new . According to Drake he’s very excited about his new position and plans on being very involved with the team. I dont know how that will be possible with the recent release of his third album but hopefully Drizzy find the time.
