Former NBA Lottery Pick Jimmer Fredette Drops 33/8/8 against Rockets! NBA Comeback?

Jimmer Fredette

Former BYU star, NBA lottery pick (1 pick ahead of Klay Thompson, 5 ahead of Kawhi Leonard and 20 ahead of Jimmy Butler) and current Shanghai Shark Jimmer Fredette scored a game-high 33 points (not 37 like the NBA YouTube said) to go with 8 boards and 8 dimes in an exhibition loss to the Houston Rockets on Sunday.  Those aren't numbers Kings, Bulls and Pelicans' fans remember from him but those were typical nights for Jimmer in the D-League last season.

Playing with the Westchester Knicks, Jimmer scored 37 in his D-League debut, followed it up with a near triple-double (22/9/7) and won MVP of the All-Star game with a record 35 points.  Let's hope the numbers he put up last year with the Knicks and this season with the Sharks will lead to a NBA comeback.
