While we were enjoying the Warriors championship parade, Draymond Green’s shots at bald LeBron James and the fact that two-time MVP Steve Nash now has a champion on his resume since he’s a player developmental consultant for the Warriors, over in Jerusalem, former six-time All-Star and former Nash teammate Amar’e Stoudemire was celebrating in his championship parade.

On Thursday, Harpoel Jerusalem beat Maccabi Haifa 83-76 to win the Israel Basketball League Championship. Like the Warriors, it was the team’s second championship in three years; The first for forward/co-owner Stoudemire.

“This feels great. To capture the moment here in Israel is an amazing feeling and great accomplishment.” Said Stoudemire, who missed a chunk of the season with an injury and finished the game with 6 points on 2 for 3 shooting and 7 boards. “We worked so hard this year, it’s been a roller coaster ride for us with new guys on the team, new coaching staff, we stayed together and got a championship.”
