The only winner for Gonzaga on Monday was the daughter of Gonzaga and NBA great (the greatest pure point guard ever, IMO) John Stockton. She caught the internet's attention when the TV cameras switched to her and her Dad watching the game. While many were saying, "Who is that?" Gonzago fans were saying, "That's Laura Stockton - sophomore point guard of the Gonzaga's women team."

Laura also has a sister, Lindsay', who played for Montana State and hilariously tweeted, "Hello Internet, I see you've met my sister" and "I wonder if my 250 new Instagram followers know they got the wrong sister" during last night's game. Her big brother is David Stockton, who also played for Gonzaga and is currently putting up some decent numbers in the D-League.

I can never pass (no pun intended) up on an opportunity to talk about how great John Stockton was and how he owns two NBA records that will never be broken. He has 3,800 more assists than Jason Kidd, who is 2nd all-time in assists and 5,499 more than Steve Nash. In the steals department, Stockton has 581 more steals than Kidd at #2.

He played all 82 games in 17 of his 19 seasons, averaged a double double for 10 seasons and 14 & 14+ for half of those seasons. His 1989 season featured some of the best fantasy stats I’ve ever seen with some very impressive streaks.

• 20/20 in 3 out of 4 games. He had 15 points and 19 assists in the non 20+ assist game.
• He would have 2 more back to back 20 assists games including an 18 point 27 assist performance that season

The only thing more SMH worthy than those stats is the fact that the greatest pure point guard ever doesn’t have a NBA Championship ring...and has a hot daughter.
