Gerald Green goes off in OT victory over Denver | 36 points & 2 nasty dunks

After a disappointing season with the Pacers last year, Green had a solid first half to this season and started the 2nd half of it on a good note with a season high 36 points including 8 in the OT victory over the Denver Nuggets.

“We told Gerald if he wasn’t fouling so much, he might have had 50,” Hornacek said. “When Gerald gets on those rolls, he’s big for us because he can make those shots. He’s not afraid to take shots when the game was on the line. He made a couple of big ones for us.”

“When I was on the bench, I was getting mad, but my teammates were telling me I had the whole second half to play. I just tried to stay in it and help my team win. Guys were setting screens for me and Goran (Dragic) was finding me.”

One of those finds lead to a poster on Kenneth Faried and even when his teammates weren’t finding him, Green was finding ways to score and vent his anger. ┬áJust ask J.J. Hickson.
