If the Golden State Warriors win Game 5 and the NBA championship on Monday night, Draymond Green – a Finals MVP nominee – will not be on the court to celebrate with them. Why? Because hitting LeBron’s “loaf (shout out to Michael Rapaport and his awesome coverage of the NBA Finals)” during the NBA Finals means more to the league than any low or high blow to the groins or faces of Thunder players in the Western Conference Finals.
On Sunday, the league announced Draymond Green’s low blow on LeBron in Game 4 is worthy of a flagrant foul 1 which resulted in an automatic 1 game suspension for Draymond since it’s his 4th flagrant of the playoffs. The news generated a lot of negative buzz on the internet and some very amusing comments by some of the players in the finals and their wives.
