Brunson scored 31 (including 5 threes) versus St Louis Eagles in his debut weekend with Chicago’s Mac Irvin Fire.
Jalen is one of the TOP 10th graders in the state of Illinois and soon will be recognized as one of the best in the nation.
Brunson led his Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) team (as a sophomore) downstate to the 4A (highest division) title game where they ultimately succumbed to 4-peat champs Chicago Simeon.
Brunson’s dad Rick is currently an assistant coach for the Charlotte Bobcats.
In the last several weeks alone, Brunson has picked up offers from Depaul, Illinois, Purdue, SMU, Virginia, Creighton and Xavier.
Thanks to everyone at NY2LA (ny2la.com) and the Mac Irvin Fire.
