James Harden Makes Rockets History With 41/15/7 Performance Vs Cavs

Houston Rockets fans might not have enjoyed watching their team lose to LeBron and the Cavs by 8 on Tuesday night but fantasy owners of James Harden couldn’t be happier. After two under 10 assists games, the Beard had 15 to go with a season-high 41 points and his 3rd straight game with 7 boards.  The monster stat line was the first time in franchise history a player racked up 40 points, 15 assists and 5 rebounds and Harden’s 5th time putting up 40, 10 and 5.  He also shot .650 from the floor, connected on 5 of 9 from 3 and only turned the ball over 1 time – he’s already had an 8 and 7 turnover game in his first 3 of the season.

Harden is now averaging a ridiculous 32.3 points, 11.8 assist and 7.3 rebounds a game, so as long as you didn’t draft him ahead of Russell Westbrook in your fantasy league, you should be extremely happy.

Speaking of insane stat lines from Houston Rockets players, this performance happened 20 years after Clyde Drexler was “robbed” of  quadruple-double.
