I just knew JaVale McGee was going to put somebody on a poster after getting posterized by Dorell Wright during last week’s Drew League action. And that somebody was Redemption’s Chuck Garcia.
JaVale’s Juglife team, which includes Nick Young and was the worst team in the Drew a couple of years ago, also pulled off an 88-81 victory behind 30 points from Sek Henry. They will take on Baron Davis, Stanley Johnson, Terrence Ross and the undefeated BB4L team on Sunday for the Drew League championship.
