If you’re looking for a amazing story along with an ridiculous scoring performance, you’ve came to the right place.
Javonte Smart’s father passed away when he was only 7-years old. Today would have been his birthday, and in his honor, Javonte wanted to score 44 points, which was the age of his father when he passed. He was on pace, scoring 23 points at the half, hitting 5 three’s in the 1st quarter. But his hot hand just kept going in the second half and just went off for 60 points, breaking the Thanksgiving Hoopfest scoring record.
This was honestly one of the best offensive shows we’ve ever seen at Ballislife. Javonte torched Little Elm’s defense and got the FT Line at will. After the game, the official book said 59 points but the Scotlandville book keeper had 64. I looked at both and wasn’t sure which stats to go off of.
Not to be forgotten was the young cat RJ Hampton, who had 32 of his 40 points the 2nd half……my camera was burning from this heat. Enjoy
