Today's morning motivation workout mix features the Golden State Warriors and takes us back to 2010, which is after the Warriors 26-win season (08/09) and before Steph Curry became a household name (around 2014/15). This is a Warriors team that started the season with Monta Ellis, David Lee, Dorell Wright, Andris Biedrins and a 2nd-year Curry in the starting line-up. And with the exception of Curry, you can see all of those guys in the above video hitting the weights.
Most current Warriors' bandwagon fans would probably fail a game of "Who dis?"with this video but they will probably recognize a now well-known point guard at the one-minute mark. That point guard is a pre-Linsanity Jeremy Lin and this video took place 14 months before Lin became an international household name after he gave the world one of the most insane two-weeks of basketball ever.
Mind boggling right?
At the time of the video, Lin was an undrafted 22-year old rookie, signed as a free agent a few months earlier. He would go on to average 2.6 points and 1.4 assists in 29 games with the Warriors and 18 points and 4.3 assists in the D-League before getting waived in December of 2011.
So in honor of the 2010 Warriors and Lin's hard work, persistence and rise to fame, here's a few more videos of Lin before Linsanity and Chef Curry insanity.
