For one, this is a pretty badass picture of Team USA. I don’t know why it’s badass, the word “badass” just suits it well.

Anyway we’re all anticipating the drop of the upcoming Air Jordan 31 (well some of us are). With Jordan brand athletes Jimmy Butler & Carmelo repping for Team USA this year, it’s more than likely that they’ll both be rocking the 31’s. The question is though, did they debut the 31’s in their Team USA photo?

Now you’re probably thinking why is there a Swoosh on a Jordan shoe? Well the Air Jordan 31 was inspired by Air Jordan 1, ya know the greatest Air Jordan to bless the sneaker industry with it’s presence. Jordan Brand is looking back on what sparked the inspiration of Air Jordan. So that means the AJ31 will be inspired by the AJ1 & next year’s AJ32’s will be inspired by the AJ2’s & so on & so forth. Pretty interesting concept of taking a step back to move forward.
