Kanye West AKA Ye and his Donda Academy Doves Prep High School Basketball Team have been playing coast to coast this season (based in California).
Led by 5-star level players such as Rob Dillingham, Zion Cruz and Jakhi Howard, JJ Taylor is the lone player from Ye's hometown of Chicago. Top 10 player in 2023 and Taylor returned to Chicago to play The Battle vs Chicago Prep at UIC Pavillion near downtown.
Spectators were told to wear black and the gym was packed. Ye, Antonio Brown, DaBaby, G Herbo, Justin Laboy and Chicago Bulls Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan and Javonte Green were among those sitting Courtside. Check out the full highlights from Ballislife.
The former Chicago Morgan Park and Kenwood star JJ Taylor and NC State commit PG Rob Dillingham were the standouts in the win. Jalen Hooks from Indiana showed out for the midwest too!
