With the Hornets trailing 91-74 after 3 quarters, Kemba Walker caught fire and connected on 9 of 10 shots and scored 21 of his 39 points in the 4th against the Kings on Monday night.
“I was doing anything possible to win,” Walker said. “I got great looks and my shots were falling. I kept being aggressive and making the right plays. That is what I try to do — make the right plays.”
The Kings did force OT but that extra session belonged to Walker’s teammate Jeremy Lin who scored 8 of his 14 points in OT.
