Back in ’96 the Air More Uptempo made it’s debut on the Olympic floors of Atlanta. Fast forward 20 years later & here we are still admiring the classic basketball sneaker. Known for it’s oversized ‘AIR’ font embroidered on both sides of the sneaker, the More Uptempo also symbolizes a shift in hip hop & street culture. Not just a sneaker of its time but also a staple of when hip hop came into fruition. Flooding the majority of radio stations, alley ways & sidewalks became galleries of infinite graffiti murals.

In honor of this special release KITH NYC has partnered up with NIKE to host a special release event to commemorate the sneaker. As KITH always does, a special release event is always in the works. KITH is offering the first 96 customers who purchase a pair will receive a limited edition “Air More Uptempo” hat long with a ticket to an exclusive event.

That ticket will grant access for the first 96 customers to an In-Store sit down on July 23rd with none other than Scottie Pippen himself.
