I don’t know about the Basketball Gods but winning might come back to haunt them since they only get to keep their 2017 draft pick if it’s in the bottom three. If it’s not, it gets sent to Philly and no Lonzo Ball for LA.

The Lakers failed to win three total games in March and February and with the win against the Kings, they are pretty much locked for the third-worst record in the NBA.
