Lance Stephenson Hits LeBron James & Slaps Norris Cole in the Face in Game 6

Lance Stephenson expected he’d get special treatment from Heat fans on Friday night.

And it didn’t take long for the Indiana Pacers guard to hear plenty of jeering when he stepped on the court for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Trying to rile up LeBron James, Lance Stephenson taps James in the face and starts a tiff in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

LeBron James and Lance Stephenson go at it in the first quarter of Game 6.

In the second quarter, Stephenson also fouled Heat guard Norris Cole by smacking him in the face as Cole went after a loose ball.

These latest antics come on the same day Stephenson admitted to speaking with Pacers president Larry Bird, who told him to not do it again.

"He said, 'Don't do it again,' so I'm not going to do it again," Stephenson said.

The Brooklyn native also said he couldn't get into James' head.

"He's the best player in the league. He knows how to play through that stuff," Stephenson said.

Stephenson probably should have listened to himself, as James finished with 25 points to lead the Heat to a 117-92 victory, eliminating the Pacers and advancing to the NBA Finals.
