With the nickname The Polish Hammer, Marcin Gortat isn’t know for finesse moves and no center in league history had more finesse moves than Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon.  One of his trademark moves from the 90s was his baseline shake where he would extend his arm to show the ball and when the defender chased it like a cat chasing a light, Hakeem would spin the other way.   The concept sounds simple enough but the execution isn’t as evident by Gortat’s attempt on Tim Duncan.

Let’s check out some footage of the master doing it on Duncan’s ex teammate David Robinson and hear the man himself explain his signature move.  Since Hakeem seems willing to train every player in the league, maybe Gortat should give him a call.
