Marco “Big Balls” Belinelli was able to overcome a sore groin to score 17 of his 27 points in the 3rd quarter and help Italy go on a 15-0 run and defeat Spain 105-98 on Tuesday. He also connected on a perfect 7 of 7 from 3 in the 2nd half and added 7 assists  in the EuroBasket win.

The former NBA 3-Point Champ also got a lot of help from his teammates including Nuggets’ Danilo Gallinari (team-high 29 points) and the Nets’ Andrea Bargnani (18). For Spain, Pau Gasol did everything he could with a game-high 34 points and 10 boards.
