The Heat typically respond well to losses with big statement games and performances. In last night’s case, it was a huge half that resulted in a 70-56 half-time score. Not only is 70 a franchise record for the Heat but Indiana hasn’t allowed 70 half-time points since Paul George was 2 years old.
If you glance at the boxscore you will notice that nobody really stood out but then you look at the minutes and see that all 5 Heat starters were in double figures, Birdman had another “perfect game,” and the Heat as a team shot 54.5%.
Story of the game: Everybody on MIA made every shot they took.
