NBA Players React To "Dirty" Zaza Pachulia Falling On Russell Westbrook's Legs

But he don't know the meaning of dope,
When he's looking for a suit-and-tie rap that's cleaner than a bar of soap,
And I'm the dirtiest thing in sight
Matter of fact, bring out the girls and let's have a mud fight!

Every time I watch Zaza "Almost made the All-Star team twice" Pachulia play, I like to say these GZA lines from the Wu-Tang classic "Protect Ya Neck."

On Saturday, Russell Westbrook could have used some protection on his legs after Zaza lived up to his dirty rep by falling on Westbrook's legs. Some fans on social media tried to defend (no pun intended) Zaza by saying he was tripped by Nick Young but most of the internet, Westbrook and a few other NBA players were calling BS.

"The league has to take a look at this man. This shit is ridiculous." Said Kyrie Irving on an Instagram post of the incident.

“You know Zaza, you know his history, you know nobody pushed him,” Said Westbrook's teammate, Paul George. “He aimed where he was going to fall. That’s Zaza making a Zaza play. He’s on the end of hurting a lot of guys.”

A very annoyed Westbrook agreed Zaza is a dirty player and the fall was intentional during an intense postgame interview that felt like Westbrook was on the verge of blowing up on a few media members.

"Don't ask me a dumb question if you know the answer." Said Westbrook to a reporter.

When told about Westbrook's claims, Zaza replied with, "No comment. That's childish. Come on. I'm not responding to that."

If you remember, this isn't the first time Zaza has done something to piss off Westbrook. Back in 2017, after knocking Westbrook down to the floor, Zaza stood over his body for a few seconds. After the game, Westbrook said he was going to get Zaza back for the flagrant foul.

“I’m going to get his ass back. I don’t play that game, I’m going to get his ass back. Whenever that is. I don’t know when that’s going to be but I don’t play that game.”

Here's a collection of postgame comments from the players in the game and a few reactions from a few other players in the NBA, followed by a collection of Zaza being Zaza.
