NBA Players React To Masked Sue Bird's Cold-Blooded 4th Quarter Vs Phoenix

How great was Sue Bird on Tuesday night?

Playing with her fifth broken nose, the oldest player in the league at the young age of 37 was so great, she had everyone from NBA champions Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade tweeting about her greatness as she dominated the 4th quarter of Game 5 against buddy Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury the way Kobe used to dominate the Phoenix Suns -- remember when he scored 24 of his 37 in the 2nd half of Game 6 of the 2010 Western Conference Finals?

After missing five of six from three going into the final quarter, the Seattle Sniper knocked down four big threes and five-of-six shots for 14 of her 22 total points to help give the Seattle Storm a 94-84 comeback victory and a date with the Washington Mystics in the WNBA Finals.

"I don't know that I've had a fourth quarter like this in as big a game in my life, to be honest," Said Bird, who also ended up with a bloody nose in the fourth after a scramble led to her mask smashing down into her fifth broken nose.

Here's what a few fellow basketball greats had to say about her performance.

And here's a few hilarious tweets from Shea Serrano, who probably should be hired to do color commentary for a WNBA Finals game. Just make sure he has Kevin Garnett's curse button from Area 21.

THE MVP

The Storm also got a game-high 28 points from WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart.
