The general reaction of the debut footage of NBA2k13 has been negative and dominated by discussion on how the dunk contest format resembles Guitar Hero.  I personally think it's an interesting risky move but a risk worth taking due to the popularity of Guitar Hero and that, like the real NBA dunk contest, changes needed to be made.
