After drilling this buzzer beating, game-winning jumper last night to give the Bulls a season high eight-game winning streak, Derrick Rose and adidas today unveiled the new “Black and Blue” colorway of the adizero Rose 2.5 that Rose wore during the second half of the NBA All-Star Game.
This black and blue colorway is inspired by Derrick’s hard-fought path to the NBA from the physical style of play at Murray Park in the Englewood neighborhood of Derrick’s hometown of Chicago. The shoe features tumbled, full grain leather and luxury nubuck upper for a smooth off-court look to rep the style of his hometown.
The adizero Rose 2.5 “Black and Blue” is available now at Foot Locker, Eastbay and Shopadidas.com for MSRP $110. The shoe will roll out in two additional colorways through April so stay tuned to the adidas Basketball Facebook page for exclusive images and content.
