Continuing our coverage of the 2026 Pangos fall events, Ronnie Flores, Ani Umana, and myself made the journey to Dallas to take in Dinos Trigonis' Pangos All South Frosh/Soph Camp. Held at the gorgeous Duncanville Fieldhouse, the Frosh/Soph brought nearly 200 players together from all over the South with no shortage of size and length.
NBA All-Stars De'Arron Fox, Cade Cunningham, Tyrese Maxey, and Trae Young all rocked jerseys and fellow $100 million players Derrick Favors, Anthony Black, and Keyonte George also showcased their talents at the All South Frosh/Soph. What makes this event unique is that you see names constantly emerge to stardom, whereas you see a lot more known commodities at some of the other stops.

Having examined a number of the camp's top players with size, here's a look at six of the top perimeter prospects that we saw at the 2026 Pangos All South Frosh/Soph Camp:

Brooks Richmond, 6'5", SG/SF, Waxahachie HS (TX), 2029 Impact
There may not have been a more productive guard at the Pangos All South Frosh/Soph Camp than Brooks Richmond. The athletic swingman is a smooth jump shooter, can really shoot on the move, and showcased his athleticism with the dunk of the camp.
A key piece of a bright Texas Impact 4:13 squad on the Under Armour Association, Richmond's growth gives plenty of optimism about him as a prospect.
Terrance Johnson, 6'3", PG/SG, Plano HS (TX), 2029 Hoops
The best two-way guard that the event had to offer was undoubtedly Terrance Johnson. Able to play either guard position, "TJ" showed much more consistency as an outside shooter, was near impossible to stop once he got going downhill, and made some great reads out of ball screens.
Doubling as a big-time wide receiver, the Houston Hoops product should have a chance to play at the high-major level in either sport.
Timothy Young, 6'2", PG, Heritage Hall HS (OK), 2029
The younger brother of Wizards All-Star Trae Young keeps carving out his own legacy, as seen with his play at Pangos All South. The constantly growing point guard is a big-time shot maker, has deep range, and knows how to control a game by controlling pace. Recently picking up his first offer from UT Arlington, Young has already established himself as one to watch in Oklahoma.
Justin Reed Jr., 6'4", PG/SG, Plano West HS (TX), 2029
A player who shined at the GASO Pre-Live Showcase, Justin Reed Jr. reminded everyone why he's one of the more serious prospects in the Lone Star State at Pangos All-South. The powerful combo guard was outstanding in transition, is a big-time rebounder for a guard, and can really finish in traffic with either hand. The son of former Boston Celtic Justin Reed is heading down the right path to be a serious prospect in his own right.
Jaden Slater, 6'6", SF/PF, Southeastern Prep (FL), 2029
The epitome of a power wing, Jaden Slater changed the Pangos All South Camp with his devastating play. The relentless forward was a beast on the glass, proved to be an elite finisher once he got his shoulders going toward the basket, and was a constant threat to dunk on you at the rack. Already holding numerous Division I offers, Slater will have an outstanding opportunity to develop at loaded Southeastern Prep.
Joseph Creal III, 6'7", SF, Mansfield Summit (TX), 2029
A swingman with size, Joseph Creal III showed the ability to get it done inside and out at Pangos All South. The well-put-together forward finished through contact in the paint, but really changed the game with his ability to stretch the defense from the 3-point line, both with his feet set and on the move.
