The NCAA spring live period is officially here. With the NCAA putting in even more restrictions to hinder high school players, D-1 coaches were only permitted to come out one weekend the entire spring to watch players on the travel ball circuit. As a result, teams are filling out their rosters through the transfer portal while a plethora of talented, unsigned seniors remain available. That should change nationally after the live period, and we took in the best that New Balance had to offer in their P32 League.
Held at the gorgeous Children's Health StarCenter Northlake in Dallas, the P32 brought all of its finest AAU teams and also hosted the Revorecruit JUCO Showcase as part of the P32 experience. Former NBA Champion/McDonald's All American Quinn Cook was in the building supporting DC Assault, while NBA champ Marreese Speights coached Team Speights. Jeff McInnis ran the show for Team Charlotte, and NBA all-stars Jamal Murray and Darius Garland were on the bench with their respective teams. Over 100 D-1 programs were in the building throughout the weekend, and no shortage of scholarships were earned.
Six-foot-6 Top 50 swingman K'Majay Jenkings stole the show, but here are six other 2028 prospects who left a lasting impression from New Balance P32 Dallas:

Terrance Byrd, 6'7, SF/PF, The Factory 17U, 2028
Playing up on the 17U level, Terrance Byrd made you forget that he was a junior and Wisconsin saw the same, putting a scholarship on the table the final day of P32. The versatile forward was an isolation nightmare out of entries at the slot, was absolutely automatic with his mid-range jumper, and has insane touch as a finisher. Byrd has the inside/out game and level of productivity to be next in line out of Phoenix's absolutely loaded public school scene at Sandra Day O'Connor.
PJ Parker, 6'9, PF, Team California Play Hard Play Smart 16U, 2028
An exceptionally agile big man, Parker made a huge impact on the game with his ability to run the floor and alter things with his length. He was totally comfortable defending on the perimeter, is a walking double double, and is totally comfortable playing facing the basket. The MVP of the 2025 Pangos All West Frosh/Soph Camp has all of the gifts to be the next up out of Sacramento.
Anwar Molette, 6'6, SG/SF, Bouye Elite 16U, 2028
Owning considerable buzz leading into the event, it only took a few minutes to see why there was so much hype surrounding Anwar Molette. He owns great elevation on his jump shot, is able to guard virtually every position at the 16U level, and converted at the rim in traffic with both hands. The Georgia product has firmly established himself as a high major prospect with the likes of UNLV, Auburn, and Ole Miss extending scholarship offers over the past few months.
Peace Brand, 6'8, PF, Max Levels Elite Philly 16U, 2028
The son of former NBA All-Star and current Sixers GM Elton Brand, Peace Brand is carving out his own legacy as a prospect. Unlike his father, the long armed forward is a pick and pop threat from the 3-point line and has feathery touch, but also controls his area (like his Pops) on the defensive glass. The MVP of the 2025 Pangos All-East Frosh/Soph Camp is still under the radar nationally, but that will change as his confidence continually grows.
Averi Knight, 6'1, PG, DC Assault 17U, 2028
Playing up on the 17U level, you'd never know that Averi Knight was a year younger than his counterparts with the way that he was able to control the game. He was the model of consistency with the way he was able to facilitate for others, maintain his presence as a scoring threat, and make plays on both ends of the court. Already holding D-1 offers, Knight will be gaining plenty more as a member of the class of 2028.
Se'Maj Stone, 6'3, PG/SG, Max Levels Elite Philly 16U, 2028
A player that I wasn't familiar with going into the event, Se'Maj Stone immediately had me searching through rosters to figure out who he was during P32 16U play. Stone is in attack mode non stop, is an incredibly finisher once he gets to the rim, and showed outstanding vision making high level passes for a scoring point guard. Stone's level of productivity and potential as a two way guard definitely have made him a name to remember out of Philly
